So there was this English Country Dance, the Pride and Prejudice & Zombies Ball, that took place last night! So much fun!! So I'm logging my attempts to make my daughter and I gowns for the event!
First things first!
I've never sewn anything from a pattern. Ever. But thanks to Saint Sandy, who found a wonderfully easy vintage pattern, my first attempt was a sheer delight to create!
This is actually a nightgown pattern, so I thought for my trial run, I'd make myself a nightgown. So I used a gauze material and made sure the elastic wasn't too tight, so I would be comfortable while sleeping!
I can't tell you how happy I was with the finished product. It actually worked!!
