Teacup Pincushion
I've always wanted one of these. I'm not exactly sure why, but that is irrelevant. So I set out to make one as one of my final Summer projects.
If I was cool I would have made this a photo tutorial, but I'm not. I took an old 'tomato' pincushion, covered it with some batting and then two layers of fabric and stitched it together. Then I got out the amazing E6000 to adhere the lace to the edge of the tea cup and I used the same to keep the cushion securely in place. After that I tied a little ribbon bow to the handle and used some more E6000 to connect the cup to the saucer. It's perfect!
